This gorgeous home is located only a short 5 minute walk to one of the best shelling beaches on Sanibel and gorgeous sunrises. After a morning at the beach, take in a round of golf at Sanibel Island Golf Club/restaurant, just around the corner. Rather be biking? Start out on the bike path, right in front of 'Sanibel Escape', to explore the miles of tropical bike paths throughout the island. Relax later in your master suite, featuring a large bath with a 2 person, jetted jacuzzi tub and separate walk in shower. The attached walk through closet brings you to the master bedroom with French doors opening to a large wrap-around porch. There the spiral staircase leads up to your private rooftop sundeck. Later, enjoy some 'down-time' on the front porch rockers, taking in the tropical view. 'Sanibel Escape' a get-a-way you'll long remember!

Home amenities include: 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms -- 1 Queen bed, 2 Twin beds (sleeps 4), 3 TV's, free WIFI & TV streaming devices on all TV's, Acorn Chairlift for easy access, enclosed lanai patio, hammock, rooftop deck, washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ gas grill, 3 adult bicycles & 1 adult 3-wheel trike are available for use. Pets considered (Dogs only). Bed linens and bath towels included. Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, wagon & tent are provided for added convenience.

    Location location location. Very short walk to the beach,on the bike path, and short drives to restaurants and groceries. Very clean home and well stocked with supplies and kitchen stuff. The feeling is that we are house-sitting a friend's house. The house was spotless and management was responsive to a minor issue regarding unlocking the doors.

    From the moment we walked in the front door, we knew we were going to enjoy our stay at Sanibel Escape. We were greeted by soaring ceilings and a bright, clean, thoughtfully furnished interior. The kitchen is large and was stocked with everything needed -- and then some! The front and back porches were favorite hangout spots. (The back is screened in.) Getting to the beach is a snap -- a short 5-minute walk. There's a bike trail right in front of the house for easy access to other spots on the island -- restaurants, shops, the Lighthouse, Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Sunday farmers market, SCCF preserves, etc. The owner provided bikes, a beach wagon, sun canopy, beach chairs, umbrella, and a gas grill to help us enjoy our stay all the more. We're already looking forward to next year.

    Worth noting: The house is raised, so entry/exit requires stairs. That wasn't an issue for us, but for some guests, it may be a challenge. On the plus side, you can park your car under the house, shielded from the sun and elements.
